    Time

So it has been 2 months.... A blip and an eternity. I'm learning... learning who I am when there's only me. Learning who I am meeting old and new friends. The choices I make tell me something.

Learning that in my new place, there are many like me. What is happening? Did I just never see this before? Here, the question 'is Saskia here this week' is so logical.

And I'm trying to find out if saying 'arrrhgh me hearties' will actually solve issues by striking fear into the heart of my opponents. No luck so far. I may have to purchase a cutlass and an eyepatch to look more fierce. :-) Besides, the guy from Revenue Canada looked too gentle to try it on (such a nice guy, from Tanzania originally, we had a great chat about the Serengetti desert).
Did I mention that we went to see the "Pirates of the Caribbean"?

    Uber-Geek-Ville

Remind me to get some sleep before doing an all day poster session.
Remind me that five cups of caffinated coffee do not make up for no sleep.

Remind me that I'm a geek and that despite having a life, not everybody is quite as fascinated by Gigabytes of SAN storage.

Still... my new Macbook Pro is *so* cool. And with the backlit keyboard, I can now work any time of day. WoW is amazingly fast, I can now walk through Booty Bay without falling off the dock.
Hold on... ok let me rephrase that. I can no longer blame the laptop when falling off the dock in Booty Bay :-)

Having just reached level 37 I can now use my new staff with 31 dps... and die valiantly when fighting a lvl 42 bloodsail mage :-)

    Hilarious: Wanted - a life....

And sorry, Mum, for scaring you with the Leonard Cohen song... I was thinking of Angels, and how we all find our Angels in time of need, and how grateful I am for all the Angels that have been on my path.

    Wishing whiskers were .....

    Fluffy's long whiskers
    tentatively touch my hand
    trying to tell
    friend from foe from food

Oh the sisters of mercy, they are not departed or gone.
They were waiting for me when I thought that I just can't go on.
And they brought me their comfort and later they brought me this song.
Oh I hope you run into them, you who've been travelling so long.
