Ok Ok Ok already my friends, here's a happy post :-)

Should you find yourself with a few hours of time to idle away and in the vicinity of a movie theatre...

I recommend

• Golden Compass - kids and I loved it, though of course this whole 'waiting for the next installment' sucks :)
  
• Water horse - kids loved it, and the horse was quite cute, a Scottish version of free Willie
• Star Dust - deviates quite a bit from the book, but really well done, and you HAVE to watch the bit with deNiro, that was hilariously well done

And of course this is old stuff that everyone but me has seen, but we've started watching Futurama (season 1, episode 3), and I'm finally watching Minority report - can't wait to finish it tonight.
