My argument for this would be that you only realize it's dead suddenly, because only after it's well and truly gone do you notice.
The magic in relationships die first, then the tolerance for each other. You notice and realize it's change as it takes place and grasp the reality when it ends (and then you move on).
Jet, for your resolution, I would like to add some suggestions: take off the rose-coloured glasses (once in a while). I swear those things aren't UV protected!!! Also "Lessons Learned" - take the wisdom you gained from your experiences and apply it. :-)
